LADY IRIE – The brand that creates Carnival Inspired Attire. This ranges from Ready to Wear Wire Bra Sets like pool side bikinis to elegant Pant/Dress/ Skirt combos which can be coined as “Fete-Wear”. Lady Irie’s first solo carnival costume presentation “AMARA” was launched in February 2020 with ORO Luxury Carnival – Grenada. At the age of 14 Kim Francis started designing and sewing outfits for herself and her friends. She later produced a fashion show showcasing her productions called Envision ’96. In 1999 while attending the International Academy of Design in Toronto Canada, Kim was one of ten students chosen from her school as a finalist in Square One’s “In The Mode” 20th century Fashion Awards and Competition. She later graduated from the IAOD and holds a High Honors Diploma in Fashion Design. Kim utilizes her creative abilities to design and produce hand painted and dyed resort wear. Many will be showcased at the Spice Island Cultural Festival Fashion production on July 10.
