SICDAQ CHRISTMAS SMILE PROJECT
CHRISTMAS TOYS FOR GRENADA
For and on behalf of the President and executives of The Spice Island Cultural Day Association of Quebec (SICDAQ).
SICDAQ has received a request for Xmas toys for kids living in care at the home for adolescent kids, aged from babies to age 18.
Although only three weeks are left to gather the gifts with the idea to ship the items on the first week of November, SICDAQ will endeavour to try to meet this deadline.
SICDAQ wish to invite members of the Community to be associated with this quick toy drive. We are asking for donation of gifts, which, preferably, should be new toys, children’s books or colouring books and toiletries for girls.
Due to the short time span, and maintaining COVID 19 protocols, we propose that this program be driven by postings on social media and telephone connections for collection of the toys.
Although the time is short, we surely can collect enough toys to cover at least 60 children in this time span, and ask that you share this outreach with your friends and family.
If you would like to donate to the SICDAQ SMILE PROJECT and put a big smile on the faces of these children in Grenada, please contact SICDAQ at (514) 620-6612. We will arrange for pick up at your address on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday November 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
If you prefer to give a donation, please do so by sending an e-transfer or paying through the SICDAQ’S Paypal Account at:
We thank you for any help you can give to the SICDAQ CHRISTMAS SMILE PROJECT.
