Are you a fan of Grenada’s spices? Do you have a favourite recipe of a Grenadian dish or beverage?

MONTREAL, March 1, 2022 – To mark the fifth anniversary of the Spice Island Cultural Festival happening on July 8-10, 2022, The Spice Island Cultural Day Association of Quebec (SICDAQ) is producing a Grenadian cookbook, in partnership with the Grenada Culinary Network (GCN), featuring delectable recipes from our favourite chefs who have supported our organizations over the years and many of our supporters and home cooks.

We are reaching out to the community to submit one of their favourite recipes from “back-home” to be included in the cookbook,

Grenada-Licious! Celebrating a Culinary Capital”.

This title is also the theme of the 2022 Spice Island Cultural Festival, which is to be held outdoors and stream virtually as well on July 9, 2022.  The cookbook will mark the Organizations’ recognition of the tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique being named the world’s first Culinary Capital by the World Food Travel Association (WFTA) in 2021.

Proceeds from the cookbook’s sales will go to Grenadian youth in need of financial assistance for their education success.
